How do I save my parking spot?

On the main screen, tap "Park Here." ParkingMagic saves your current location, and you can optionally add a note, a photo, or a meter timer to remind you when your parking expires.

How does Walk Back work?

Tap the arrow icon next to any saved parking session to open Walk Back. You'll see a live compass arrow and distance guiding you back to your car. In multi level garages, ParkingMagic uses your device's barometer to estimate which floor you parked on, since GPS alone does not work reliably indoors or underground.

Why isn't Walk Back accurate for floor level?

Floor estimation relies on barometric pressure readings, which can be affected by weather changes. Accuracy is best within an hour or two of parking, and may degrade over longer periods.

How do I find nearby parking?

Tap "Find Parking" to search a 1km radius around your current location for nearby garages and lots, shown directly on the map.

How does the sign scanner work?

Point your camera at a posted parking sign, and ParkingMagic reads the text on your device to help you understand posted time limits and restrictions. This happens entirely on your device.

Is my data private?

Yes. All parking sessions, notes, and photos are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect your personal data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete a saved parking session?

Swipe left on any saved session in your list and tap delete, or manage entries from the main screen.
